Single and multiplayer, turn-based dueling, featuring 30+ levels of PvE play against AI opponents and PvP dueling options to help you find exactly the kind of duel you're looking for.
As your duelist levels, they learn new skills. There are nine skill branches to choose from -- over 90 specialized dueling skills, each with their own unique upgrade.
MetaDuel games feature over 900 different items of game gear that duelists can equip. And that's just for levels 30 and below -- the advanced game, above level 30, offers even more! Your gear can complement your own dueling strategies or interfere with your opponent's!
2v2 team play and tourneys are coming soon. MetaDuel: Gunfighter begins your MetaDuel experience in the Wild West of Kansas in the 1890s and is now in closed beta.
Flame wars have never been so much fun! Don't just butt heads -- wield logical fallacies to wear your opponent down, use snide innuendo to sap their energy, and time your shots to ensure you scathing humor scores to (virtually) defeat your haters (or just those silly numpties who disagree with your golden views) on Twitter! Can't resolve your debate? Use a TwitterWars challenge!
Glitch Girls is the definitive NFT collection by renowned artist GHØST GIRL. Each Glitched Girl™ belonged to the Light or the Dark, and their duels are epic contests of wizardry, psionics, and pure will.
GlitchWar is currently available for beta testing. Like Gunfighter, the game development state is "play mechanism testing" -- meaning it's a fully playable dueling game (up to level 30!), but the UI and the UX remain in a very primitive state.
GlitchWar is not currently tied into the web3 Glitch Girls NFT project. That's coming soon!
Mars is the new frontier ...and sometimes that planet just isn't big enough for the both of us! If Martians aren't racing across the flats in Rover Wash, they're settling their differences the old fashioned way: With laser pistols or flamespitters at 20 paces! (Winner gets to go home to the nicest bunker...)
Gunfighter is free to play. No need to pay even a wooden nickel for PvP or PvE play up to level 30 -- and that's a LOT of play.
But if people are having fun, they CAN support the game (and keep Moggy in single-malt) via the purchase of premium avatars or NFTs ...or by picking up a commemorative Golden Eagle, which can be converted to game scrip and used to buy gear or place special orders in the shop for items that are currently out of stock.
Premium avatars are unique, sometimes fantastic other races, and can be interesting for advanced players to play. They add further nuance to game play, but not an actual advantage. A goo duel requires balance, so we're not about pay-to-win gaming. Smart play is what should and does win duels.
Gunfighter is a fully playable game, with hundreds of items, dozens of weapons and unique skills, and over a dozen fantasy races you can play as duelists.
The UI is still very basic -- focus is currently and exclusively on finalizing the core game mechanics.
We open availability of custom premium avatars -- you send us a photo and we'll convert you into a Wild West gunfighter and assign that image to the gunfighter account of your choice in the game.
Along with major desktop UI and UX enhancements, MetaDuel's focus on portability makes the deployment of our mobile app the next major milestone!
With our live launch, premium, unique avatars become available via conventional storefront or as NFTs for those preferring web3 tech. When you buy the avatar not only is that uniquely yours to use within the game,, you also get the rights to a remarkable piece of art.
Of course there are hundreds of stunning free avatars to choose from for the free players to use.
The first new contexts go live, with Glitched Duels, where Light and Dark Glitch Girls from GHØST GIRL's definitive web3 project can duel amongst each other, with traits from their NFTs lending them specific capabilities in the game. Shortly thereafter, we roll-out support for the MetaMars community with Martian Duels and our social dueling game, Twitter Wars!
Calling him a "Programmer" is generous. But he has so much fun doing it we don't have the heart to take his keyboard away.
Weirdly, he's also an Author, Adventurer, Serial Entrepreneur, Stoic, Infantry Vet, and a total (self-acknowledged) Geek.
This dude's been managing online communities since before Netscape let the screaming hordes onto the Internet. He's been a Game Producer, Game Designer, Convention Coordinator, Author, Bon Vivant, and has a side-hustle as a Scotch whiskey sampler.
By now we have learnt that game-changing ideas do not come from experts, they come from clueless people who ask stupid questions that we weren't smart enough to think up ourselves.
